This past weekend, Ryan and I attended a charity event for Eastside Baby Corner, a wonderful organization in Issaquah. A special shout out to our friends Angela and Keith for hosting a celebratory gathering for a wonderful cause... complete with to-die-for food.
On this sunny, but not-too-hot Saturday, I opted for a white lace dress that's been sitting in my closet just waiting to be worn. On the chance that I might be seated in the sun, I thought that white would be a better choice than an LBD. Parties like this generally invovle a lot of mingling, which also means a lot of standing. So, I went against custom and opted for flats. Since it was a warm afternoon, I pulled my hair back into a sleek high bun, which also showed off the lace detail at the neckline and my oversized pearl earrings.
