Some weeks, it just takes more
effort than usual. This was one of those weeks. And that's why this Friday
feels like a major feat. One to be celebrated with rosé this evening. But
first, work.
Today,
I was taken by surprise by the sudden arrival of spring rain showers. As such,
I adapted what I was going to wear (short sleeves and capris) to black jeans
with a 3/4 sleeve checkered top. I love the layered embroidery detail on the
ruffled sleeves. I bumped up the otherwise casual outfit with some platform
sandals and pearl jewelry. Best of all—this outfit pulls double duty. It's
casual enough for a Friday school day, but it's also dressy enough so that I
don't have to rush home and change before date night.
