The thing about an all white dress is that it just screams "summer". Easy, breezy, timeless, and most importantly... effortlessly chic.
For a recent event that required a little more of a dressy look than a chambray romper and flip flops, I opted for this midi wrap dress from J.Crew. The all-over eyelet is the perfect vibe for a summer event, in this case, a graduation. Most importantly, it's made of 100% cotton, so it breathes in the heat. And, it is even fully lined. Because modesty.
I love the ruffle sleeves and wide bow sash, all of which give this dress just a little bit of fancy femininity. I opted for a pop of color with some cheerful yellow pumps and a pair of great yellow Kendra Scott earrings. Though, I could easily make this a more boho look with a pair of platform tan sandals, some layered bracelets, and hoop earrings. Top it with a denim jacket and some easy slides and you have a beachy look. Such a versatile dress! And did I mention it's now on sale...?!
