Date night arrived this week and I was feeling the casual vibe. Feeling lazy, I reached for a pair of my favorite skinny jeans and one of my softest tees, but elevated the look with velvet and snake pumps, a crocodile handbag, and a supple leather jacket. The colors were all in the same family of fall tones - brown, green, burgundy - which is why the look, with so many hues and textures, pulled together. Even the jeans had a grayness to the wash that complemented the brown.
