Sometimes when you buy a pair of shoes, you know exactly the occasion on which you will wear them. These oh-so-whimsical sneakers were positively made for Valentine's Day.
When I walked into the store in Frankfurt, I knew I had to have them. Because love at first sight can sometimes apply to shoes, as well as husbands.
I styled these with a simple black jean and another perfect-for-the-occasion item, a gray sweater with an embroidered smooch, and I was ready for Valentine's Day.
In warmer weather, I'll wear these shoes with cut-off jeans or a fitted maxi dress. And next fall, I think they'll be so cute with a bright red sweater and scarf.
