Though Flying Apron, my favorite local bakery, closed their Redmond location, they are still thriving in Freemont, which is really only a half hour car ride away. And let me tell you, their vegan gluten-free treats are worth the commute! Note for you West Seattle folks, there's also a West Seattle location in your neck of the woods!
In this weird Covid 19 quarantine world, our local businesses are suffering. So it is all the more important for those of us who are able to support our favorite small businesses, especially the locally-owned restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, by continuing our patronage through take-out and delivery.
I popped by the Freemont location to stock up on my favorite Flying Apron treats including their peanut butter bars, butternut squash pizza, and mint chocolate chip cookies. We also picked up some blueberry scones, herbed white rolls, and shamrock sugar cookies.
