Though I'm not one who goes for yard art or kitschy items cluttering
the exterior of my property (I even keep holiday lighting to a minimum!), I do
love a good doormat. The face of your home, a doormat is the first impression
guests will gain as they arrive and stand waiting for the door to be opened.
Like that perfect accessory that completes an outfit, it's a way to dress up
your house or to add a seasonal touch, reflecting a bit of personality in doing
so.
This mat was a
happy find during a blessedly peaceful Super Bowl trip to Target. I loved the
playful statement, the whimsical font, and the black and neutral color scheme.
And, of course, I also hope my guests take the sentiment to heart!
